Technogym is a world leader in the design of fitness equipment for private homes, fitness clubs, hotels, spas, rehabilitation centers, corporate gyms, universities, professional sports facilities and beyond.

The needs:
Technogym is strongly committed to innovation. The equipment produced are the result of a ceaseless technological research and quality-oriented attention to detail. The first problem Technogym had to solve was the management and sharing of technical information, especially spare parts catalogues, with its worldwide service network. This need urged the Technogym After-Sales Division to find a software solution capable of meeting the following
requirements: maximum integration with the corporate’s ERP and internal management systems; possibility to customize the application basing on the company needs; possibility to directly manage the database; ease of use; modular management of catalogues.

The solution
After a thorough analysis of the technical characteristics of different spare parts management platforms, Technogym focused its attention on iSP. Emmebistudio’s solution offers maximum integration with business information systems thanks to its open database based on Microsoft SQL Server technology. This philosophy is one of iSP’s strengths as it allows client companies to be the owners of their data and to make connections and queries also through other applications.
Another strength is that iSP does not bind the administrators  to install proprietary software for creating catalogues. iSP was the first software in this sector to adopt the Adobe Flash technology for creating and viewing interactive drawings.
 The ability of the iSP development team to promptly respond to any customer’s needs, enabled us to present Technogym a system capable of managing code-based versions, videos and notes on each single item, languages, carts with multi-lists and multi-value management, table and list upload workflow from Pro/E.
The advantages
Thanks to the iSP’s technology, Technogym will see a reduction in the costs of production and distribution of spare parts catalogues. The system administrators can operate from all over the world using a PC with a browser and an Internet connection. Even at a user-level, the possibility of immediate consultation and high-definition printing of catalogues allows to share any updates with the entire worldwide network instantaneously. The functionality, flexibility and usability of iSP reduces time, errors and costs associated with the sale of spare parts.
